Made from 100% cream MOCK dupion* and lined with 100% white cotton lawn. £120/€120. *The fabric is an excellent quality 100% polyester satin-backed dupion.
The bodice has short puffed sleeves finished with a lace-trimmed cuff and a mock sailor collar with subtle metallic zigzag stitching and narrow lace. There are horizontal bands of embroidery in the “V” shape created by the collar and a centre front 15mm ribbon bow. The full skirt has horizontal tucks across the front, trimmed with subtle metallic embroidery stitch and narrow lace. The skirt is finished with a lace-edged fabric frill.
The gown measures approximately 85cm from the shoulder to the hem and fastens at the back with 3 pearlescent “shell” buttons. All these gowns are full and heavy, and so they hang beautifully.
