Made from 100% white MOCK dupion* and lined with 100% white cotton lawn. £100/€100. *The fabric is an excellent quality 100% polyester satin-backed dupion.
The bodice has short puffed sleeves and a narrow cuff, featuring metallic zigzag stitch. The bodice has a centre panel with 5 narrow tucks and 2 rows of pale metallic embroidery. The full skirt is also has a centre panel, trimmed with 7 tucks and 3 rows of stitching. The panel is highlighted with a pale metallic thread and the skirt is has a crisp fabric frill.
The gown measures approximately 80cm from the shoulder to the hem and fastens at the back with 3 pearlescent “shell” buttons. All these gowns are full and heavy, and so they hang beautifully.
