Made from 100% cream MOCK dupion* and lined with 100% white cotton lawn. £60/€60. *The fabric is an excellent quality 100% polyester satin-backed dupion.
The bodice has 7 vertical rows of subtle metallic zig zag stitching and a ribbon rosebud, with 15mm ivory ribbon bow. The 3/4 length sleeves are gathered at the top, taper to the hem, and are trimmed with a ribbon rosebud. The full skirt is has horizontal bands of stitching at the front and ribbon rosebuds and it is finished with a crisp fabric frill.
The gown measures approximately 55cm from the shoulder to the hem and fastens at the back with 3 pearlescent “shell” buttons. All these gowns are full and so they flare out beautifully.
