Made from 100% ivory silk dupion and lined with 100% white cotton lawn. £70/€70.
The bodice has a centre panel decorated with bands of embroidered flowers in a bright variegated thread in shades of red, yellow and green; two vertical tucks finish the sides of this panel. The 3/4 length sleeve is full at the shoulder and tapers to the hemline, where the edge is finished with embroidery. The full skirt matches the bodice with embroidery and tucks. The hemline is finished with an embroidered fabric band.
The gown measures approximately 55cm from the shoulder to the hem and fastens at the back with 3 pearlescent “shell” buttons. All these gowns are full and so they flare out beautifully.
